Beauty Bits Vol. 1

TGIF!! I've made some naughty little beauty purchases in the past couple of weeks, and I decided to save them up for a Beauty Bits post. Mostly new launches, and one item that I somehow missed and don't know how because it's awesome!

Bite Beauty Lush Lip Wipes: As a lover of bold lipstick, I know all about lipstick stains and removal problems. Sometimes at the end of the day, you just want to switch up your makeup look and go for a slightly smokey eye and nude lip instead. Enter lip wipes. Perhaps totally unnecessary, but anything from Bite Beauty is awesome in my books. I got the small pack to try them out and so far really like them. I think I'll leave a couple in my purse and a couple in my travel bag. They also came with this adorable little mirror.

Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel: How did I miss this?!? This product has been out for a while now, but it somehow slipped past my radar. It's not meant to be a primer, but kind of acts like one when worn under makeup. It also looks really great over makeup as a subtle highlight. Recently, I've started mixing it with my Giorgio Armani Maestro foundation which is in my summer shade and is getting a tad too dark for me. Works like a charm!

Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss in Distinction: Christmas came early in Canada! I think we got these before the US even. The Bay even had a sneaky little launch party 2 weeks ago for pre-access and I was all over that. I'm a sucker for good packaging, and these glosses have the exact same luxurious click-n-pop that the Rouge Allure Lipsticks have. Heaven! I limited myself to one shade, a dark berry. I prefer to wear it sheered out for a more subtle look, and it's the perfect fall shade.

Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Palette: I love the Basics 1 palette, so I just had to check out version 2. It's slightly more cool toned, which I love. There are also more options for deeper looks in my opinion. I am constantly using the Naked Basics 1 in every day and in travel, and am sure that this one will be equally, if not more, loved.

What beauty bits have you picked up recently??
