The Weekend Edit Vol. 15

28.9.14

After the craziness that was last week, taking it easy this week was awesome. I didn't have any concrete plans, finally did some decent groceries, and got back to the yoga studio. Missing my weekly yoga sesh is something that I totally notice in my life. I think it's what keeps me sane. I also have a home practice, but there's something almost magical about the yoga studio I go to.

In other news, I found out something really exciting on Friday...I'm headed to Brussels in December!! Woohoo! These work trips are always so unexpected and I'm always so grateful to be able to travel like I do. Can't wait! If anyone has been to Brussels and has suggestions, let me know in the comments below!

You never know what will happen, so I always keep a phone battery booster in my purse. I've also just ordered this one for when I travel. Isn't it cute!

So far I haven't been very successful at food photography. This article is so in depth and has a ton of great tips. Definitely worth checking out.

Fall beauty trends to try! Straight hair and a bold red lip have been my go-to lately.

I am the queen of sleep, so for anyone who makes fun of my excessive need to sleep, you should read this.

And from Love. Loft. Life. this week:
My Fall Capsule Wardrobe // Jogging pants + Chambray shirt // Beauty Bits Vol. 1

How was your week?

  1. Depending on what you like, Brussels has a great fine arts museum with a permanent Magritte exhibit, an interesting museum of natural history (with a large collection of dinosaur skelet ons), a good museum on musical Instruments and one on (belgian) comics... Architecturally, you can take a walk along the art nouveau houses of Horta or just admire the historic centre. There's also many high-end fashion stores but I don't know much about that.
