Fall Capsule: Moto Mini Skirt + Grey Graphic Sweater

Hey guys, another outfit post from my Fall Capsule Wardrobe for you today! It features this fabulous moto mini skirt from Madewell that most may think would be a bit hard to pull off at the office. The trick? Pairing it with opaque black tights and feminine pieces. Keep reading for more photos and outfit details!

Sweater - J.Crew, Skirt - Madewell, Bag - Mackage, Shoes - ASOS (old, similar), Watch - Kate Spade (sold out, similar),  Rings - Etsy & Silver Gallery Vancouver, Lipstick - Armani Rouge Ecstasy 601

I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I saw it online. It was a must purchase. The faux leather look and exposed zippers make it the perfect edgy piece that my wardrobe was lacking. For the office, I paired it with a soft, loose sweater, feminine flats, and dainty rings. Keeping the look monochrome also makes the skirt the standout piece in a subtle way. Even the graphics on the sweater, another fave, are subtle (and a cool conversation starter!).

I threw in a photo of me in my glasses as well. I wear them on days at the office when I'm stuck staring at my computer screen. Standard black, but maybe one day I'll have multiple pairs in different colours to match my outfit like my boss does. That would be awesome!

How do you balance out edgier pieces? Are you on board with the moto trend?
