The Weekend Edit Vol. 18

Happy weekend! For my fellow Canucks, most of us probably had a short work-week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The week really did fly by. Relaxing this weekend at the cottage, doing some baking and fire-building. Time has started to move very slowly for me at this point though as I can't wait to leave on vacation next Friday! Hopefully the week will pass by quickly though. I'm giving a presentation Tuesday, and leaving for a last minute business trip Wednesday. Home at midnight Thursday night just in time to catch my flight Friday morning. My travel skills are really going to be put to the test.

Here are some fun links to brighten your Sunday:

Loved reading this post about going without makeup for a week. I don't know if I could do it...

How to tuck, roll, and belt your way into fashion perfection! I'm a big fan of the half-tuck and the J. Crew sleeve roll.

Drunk J. Crew. Trust me, you'll thank me :)

This tutorial is fantastic for the lived-in berry lip trend.

How was your week?

  1. Sounds like a busy week coming up! I loved that article about wearing no makeup, nice to see a different take on make up :) x

    1. I really enjoyed the no-makeup article. Really interesting perspective

  2. I really liked the article about no makeup too. I tend to favor the natural/"no-makeup" makeup look, so I think sometimes my boyfriend is like, um, what's the point with you spending all this time in front of the mirror. It makes me want to occasionally just spot conceal and leave the house...

Also, the tucking, rolling, etc. - so helpful. I'm intimidated by the half-tuck and always think it looks weird when I do it, but maybe I'm just not used to it yet.

    1. The half-tuck really is intimidating!
