Beauty Bits Vol. 7

Another month, another roundup of my beauty purchases. There have been so many amazing launches lately, it's been hard to keep track! I managed to pick up a bunch of hits this month (and 1 re-purchase), so keep reading to hear my thoughts.

Bumble & bumble Pret-a-Powder: I'd heard really good things about this dry shampoo, and after using it just a couple of times, I went back to Sephora to get mini sizes for when I travel (and maybe even my purse)! I've been dealing with rather limp hair lately, so this is also really great at boosting volume at my roots. I also find I have more control over this than with an aerosol spray.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado: This is a re-purchased item for me, and I mentioned it in my morning skincare routine post. I don't like most eye creams I've tried, so since this is the second time I've come back to this one, it must be good. It's super hydrating!

Nails Inc. x Victoria Beckham Bamboo White: I never thought I would like a "white" nail polish. I guess because this one is on the border between white and pale pink is why it works for me. I'm officially obsessed, and have done 2 back-to-back manis so far. I may be a white polish convert, and have my eyes on the Formula X White Party set. Uh oh...

Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Duo: Everyone raves on and on about Kevyn Aucoin products, but they're hard to come by here in Montreal. Sephora has recently started carrying a selection online, and I thought that the creamy duo was the best way to try both the sculpting color and the Celestial highlight in one compact package. I'm quite impressed with how it lasts all day, despite being super emolient (which makes application a dream, just FYI).

NUDESTIX Moisture Pencil: I bought this a couple of weeks ago when the skin pencils from NUDESTIX first came out, to help combat with my last cold of the "winter" season (yes, I am well aware we are officially in spring, but Mother Nature disagrees when it comes to Montreal). I used this around my nose, and also on my lips, and it really locks moisture in. I plan to toss it in my handbag for some upcoming flights as well. I'm also interested in the Blur and Matte + Blemish pencils. Have you tried them??

Have you tried any of these products out? What new treats have you picked up recently?

  1. I have been tempted by the nails inc polish - it does look like an ideal white! I've been going for pastels recently, love some nice mint greens and pastel pinks! xx

    Jasmin Charlotte

    1. It's the most perfect white! I'm also a fan of the mint greens, especially this time of year :)

  2. i've been meaning to try the pret-a-powder, thanks for the reminder haha!
