Spring - 5 fresh nail colours

While it's calling for a downpour all day today and into tomorrow morning here in Montreal, they're finally announcing warm, sunny weather for this weekend! Hopefully what they say about April showers bringing May flowers is true, because I'm totally ready for it to actually look and feel like spring outside. Until then, I guess I'll have to settle with a fresh manicure. Here are my picks for spring!

L to R: Deborah Lippmann - Today was a Fairytale, Formula X - Impeccable, Nails Inc. - Porchester Square, Essie - Bikini So Teeny, CND Vinylux - Mint Convertible

I'm all about the pastel polishes this spring: I'm quite smitten with the Formula X polishes at this point, and while I had my eye on the White Party Collection, I must say that Impeccable is the more versatile shade. It's the perfect demure pink shade for my skin tone. If you saw my post featuring my spring mood board, you'll have seen that minty-blue polishes are something on my radar this season. I already have Essie's Bikini So Teeny and CND Vinylux's Mint Convertible in my arsenal, and would live your suggestions for more options in this shade range!

I'm a neutral loving gal at heart, so I had to throw my much loved Nails Inc. Porchester Square in there. And finally, for a little bit of bling, Deborah Lippmann's Today Was A Fairytale is the perfect glitter top coat to add to your manicure (I especially like it over top of Bikini So Teeny).

What are your favourite shades for ringing in spring?

  1. Bikini So Teeny, my one true love! I've got to check out some of these neutrals.
