OOTD: T-shirt dress + Lace-up sandals

While today may be the first day of September, Montreal is still in full summer mode with this week's heat wave. So, why not throw some final summer looks out there before transitioning into my Fall wardrobe! Don't get me wrong, I love the hot summer weather and will be sad to see it go, but Fall and its fashion is by far my favourite. Layers, blanket scarves, September Issues, and let's not forget the pumpkin spice lattes! Fall is all about transitions, and while this look may be for more fair weather, T-shirt dresses are definitely something that are going to feature heavily in my transitional wardrobe. Keep reading for more photos and full outfit details!

I have a new-found love for t-shirt dresses, and I have Joelle to thank because I totally copied her with this one. Since buying this dress, I've gone back for 2 other colours! What I like most about a flowy tee dress is that they can easily be dressed up or down, and will transition well into cooler weather with the addition of tights and booties. Plus, these pack really well, which is a great bonus for my jet set life.

These lace-up sandals have probably been my most worn shoe this summer. And, I got them on sale! They're comfy, chic, and perfectly on trend. Lace-up footwear is really having a moment right now. While I won't be able to wear them for much longer, I've already got a pair of lace-up flats ready to swoop in.

Are you still holding on to summer? Or are you ready to jump into Fall? What are your key transitional pieces going to be?

  1. I love this dress and how transitional grey tones are! I've been on the hunt on one exactly like it. Going to pop into Aritzia soon and hope they have it back in!
