Beauty Bits Vol 9. - Some new & new-to-me discoveries

1.2.16

It's been a while since I've done a Beauty Bits post, so I've rounded up a few of my purchases from over the last several months to share my thoughts. A couple of these are new releases, while others are new-to-me. Keep reading to check it out!

Wonderglow: This stuff is as dreamy as they say it is, and I love that it acts as both a primer and adds a healthy bit of glow to my pale, winter complexion.

Color Chameleon in Bronzed Garnet: I wanted to try out one of the Color Chameleon's, and decided on Bronzed Garnet, a reddy-bronze shade. I like this cream eyeshadow formula, but I dont think anything can truly top my Nudestix Magnetic Eye Colors.

K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Stoned Rose: This lipstick formula is exquisite, and so I just had to add another to my collection late last fall (I already owned Bitch Perfect). Stoned Rose is perfectly on trend with the revival of the 90s lip, with just enough rose-tones in it to make it a timeless classic.

NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint in Finland: This officially hits all stores where NARS products are sold today, and you should definitely go snatch up a bottle for yourself...fast! I had previously tried a sample of the Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, but it was too dewy for my oily skin. This is Pure Radiant's perfect counterpart for us oily-skinned gals. I've been wearing this every day since I purchased it last week, and think that it's combination of easy application and stay-put matte finish will make it my new go-to lightweight base.

MUFE Ultra HD Concealer: There's a lot of hype floating around the internet right now about these guys, and it's well deserved! There are both corrector and concealer shades, and I got one of each (R22 & Y23). These are giving my beloved NARS Radiant Creamy Concealers a run for their money! I like the more hygienic packaging, but you have to be really careful not to use too much. A little goes a long way with these guys.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Bond Girl: I finally caved on Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution lipsticks after seeing the lovely Alexandra rave about them. These have such a dreamy formula, and Bond Girl is such a classic, spicy shade. Plus the sexy name isn't so bad either.

NARS Blush in Impassioned: I don't usually gravitate towards blushers, because I find most shades accentuate the acne scaring on my cheeks, but I tried this one and just had to have it. It's the perfect pale pink flush for spring.

Have you tried any of these products out? Any new recommendations I should check out?
