#MilkyJelly: Glossier's dreamy new launch

5.2.16

To say that Glossier made the perfect cleanser is an understatement. By a long shot. It's absolutely dreamy!

I've previously shared my love for Glossier here and here, and their new cleanser, Milky Jelly, is no exception. It's been a year in the making, and is based on the hundreds of comments from Into The Gloss readers. Keep reading for my full review!

The first thing I'm going to say is that if you're looking for a purifying, foaming cleanser, this is not it. Instead, it's double duty as both a cleanser and a makeup remover, it's silky smooth, and smells amazing.

While it may seem like it's a simple cleanser, it can be used on dry skin to melt off makeup, or on wet skin to cleanse it. And that's exactly how I like to use it: both ways. I use one pump on dry skin to remove my makeup, wet my skin, then use another pump to cleanse. The best part is that Milky Jelly is so gentle, you can use it to remove eye makeup with no problems.

While I don't think I'll be swapping out my Glamglow cleanser for morning use, because I really like a foaming cleanser that gets a little deeper in the morning, Milky Jelly has completely taken over prime position in my nighttime routine. I no longer need to use both a makeup removing oil and a cleanser, because this bad boy does it all.

Milky Jelly is the perfect addition to the Glossier family, and it most certainly plays well with others. And at that price, I won't cringe every time I make a repurchase. Which I will be. Often. Still need to get my hands on Boy Brow (why, oh why is Brown always sold out?), so I have an excuse for another order!

    1. Glossier has been around for about a year and a half now, but the cleanser just launched in January! I love how it both cleanses, and removes makeup :)

  5. I definitely have to look into this. I use the Yesto cucumber wash. I actually really hate foamy washes. My skin is always so dry, so they just feel even more drying, you know? Thanks for the suggestion. :)

    1. Same! My skin feels so tight and dry after using a foaming cleanser. That's why I much prefer cleansing balms and oils (so long as they actually cleanse that is). :)
